Meehania cordata (Nuttall) Britton. Common name: Meehania. Phenology: Late May-Jul; Jun-Jul. Habitat: Moist, rocky, forested slopes, especially in rich boulderfield forests. Distribution: A Central and Southern Appalachian endemic: sw. PA and OH south to sw. VA, nw. NC, and ne. TN.
