This cultivated form of our southern red-cedar presents a handsome tree when mature. It is upright and tight, a useful character if planting a hedgerow or windbreak. The bark exfoliates in strips, the cones are blue-green in color. This plant is long-lived and tolerates a wide range of soil conditions, even coastal. Like so many conifers, this tree will require little care of planted in the right place. No pruning needed.
