PHENOLOGY: Jul-Nov.
HABITAT: Swamp forests, especially in sphagnous seepage areas away from direct flooding, savanna edges, ditches.
COMMENTS: Se. NC to s. GA; reported but undocumented from n. FL, AL, and MS. Apparently rare throughout its range.
