Cultivar Comments: Compared to the straight species of American alumroot, this cultivar 'Dale's Strain' has unique silver-blue and red marbled foliage with variable veination. Rounded mounds of foliage take on an orange to burgundy cast in the fall and winter. Panicles of tiny pinkish-brown to white bell-shaped flowers rise above its foliage in late spring.
